- I'm a happy, positive, friendly, easy-going person. A good listener and conversationalist and a genuinely warm and engaging companion, perceptive and responsive. Cheerful with a great sense of humor. Genuine and comfortable with who I am.
I love to be active and am somewhat adventurous by nature. Summer finds me out on my rollerblades several days a week, camping along the North Shore, walking my dog or taking him to the dog park, catching a concert at the zoo, riding my quiet BMW motorcycle on trips short and long, town festivals, parades, fireworks, airshows, watching (so far) the skydivers at Hutch, practicing yoga, taking the jet skis out on Minnetonka. Downhill skiing is my passion in the winter, I'm a certified instructor and teach locally on Saturdays. I try to get to Colorado (Beaver Creek) to teach during breaks and busy times whenever I can. I go to Snowbird, Utah, every January. I look for fun, interesting things to do (and am pretty good at it!). And all balanced with a love of pure downtime, relaxing, lingering, talking, being.
I love live music of almost any type and go to concerts regularly, in venues large and small. The 318 in Excelsior is a favorite and it's fun go see a live band at a bar and do some dancing.
I like to stay fit and take care of myself...that means good food choices, regular exercise, positive outlook. I'm not a fanatic or anything (I love to cook and have an incredible weakness for chocolate and good wine), but I think it's important to be deliberate in choosing what to eat and in maintaining good health. I think a lot of our ability and energy to enjoy all the things we like to do comes from having a healthy body.
I'm curious by nature, always kind, thoughtful, and generous. Romantic and gentle, sensual and passionate, and a bit playful and flirtatious. You'll notice my warmth and sense of humor and the fact that I am right there, in-the-moment with you, in touch and engaged. People have mentioned my eyes -- soulful, calm.
I really value communication, two-way conversational skills and the willingness and ability to express thoughts and feelings freely and clearly. I'm drawn to women that take care of themselves physically, but are not obsessed about it.
I'm hoping to meet someone to share adventures and fun, planned or spontaneous. Someone special to crash and relax with at the end of a long day or week, knowing you'll love the plan for that night, or just making a special meal at home with a good bottle of wine and a DVD on the couch.
I'd like to meet someone with similar interests to mine in terms of friendliness, intelligence, energy, general activity level, emotional intimacy, and a willingness to share life.
